Meet the Team
SARAH BALLIN

Having been in the care industry all her life she decided to create lets get active to help those in their prime to keep fit and stay steady along with preventing falls whilst having fun.
CLAIRE RICHARDSON
Claire is Sarah's sister and just like Sarah she has the passion, drive and most importantly knowledge within the care sector and having been with people over 65 for most of her life she also engages well with them and understands the daily life changes they go through.
Claire has been involved with Let's Get Active to support Sarah since she founded it however since 2020 Claire has started to instruct within the care environment and also in the community. Even though she had twin boys in 2022 she is looking forward to everything that 2023 brings and meeting lots of new people to share her love and awareness with.
SARAH WATKINS
Dancing is my passion and I love to keep active and fit, so when I discovered Dancefit it was a perfect combination!
I have been leading Dancefit classes since 2011 and absolutely love it. I decided in 2021 to gain the Level 4 in Postural Stability and now teach these classes across Derbyshire.
Whether you're 5 years old or 85 years old there is a exercise routine for you!
TANIA PERRY
Tania has been in the fitness industry her whole life. After working for Derby City Council teaching fitness classes for 20 years I made the leap to go self employed a few years ago.
I now teach my own classes in the community, I still feel very passionate about teaching and used to work with Sarah at Derby City Council and she introduced me to Let’s Get Active years ago and in 2022 I decided to work with Sarah again but this time for Let's Ge Active.
It's very rewarding going to the Care Environment and engaging with the people makes my day and I feel like I am helping others.
